Counteracting Toxins with Wheatgrass According to a new study released from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), 97% of Americans are contaminated with a widely-used sunscreen ingredient called oxybenzone that has been linked to allergies, hormone disruption, and cell damage. This study strengthens the importance of adding wheatgrass to your diet. Wheatgrass is a natural source of chlorophyll which counteracts toxins that enter our bodies through the consumption of fast foods, foods with pesticides, and now the recently discovered - toxins we absorb from sunscreen.
